These school girls in Sierra Leone have survived a decade of civil war. Yet, they are again at risk in a country where 1 in 8 women die during pregnancy or childbirth and where more than 1 in 5 adolescent girls give birth each year. Adolescents have largely been neglected, especially in humanitarian response and the provision of reproductive health.
